How to Play Brain Test: Tricky Puzzles
Each Brain Test level is a single screen with a question at the top. Your job is to answer it, but almost never in the way the question seems to want. There are no written rules. Everything on the screen is a possible tool, including the question itself.
What you can do on screen
- Tap objects, answers and even the words of the question.
- Drag almost anything: objects, characters, numbers, words and sometimes the level number at the top.
- Pinch to zoom in or out on objects.
- Use two fingers when one is not enough, for example to open two eyes at once (level 276).
- Move the phone: some levels react when you shake it, turn it or lay it flat (level 27, level 126).
Read the question twice
Most Brain Test questions are written to steer you the wrong way. "Which one is closest to us?" (level 4) is not about the pictures; the answer is the word "us". Before you tap anything, ask what the question says literally, not what it seems to mean.
Wrong answers are free
A wrong tap just shows a cross and lets you try again. There is no penalty, so experiment: drag things around and tap everything. If you're still stuck, use a hint, or look up the level here and open only the hint.
